New Horizons International believes that the first step to building strong communities is providing opportunities for community members to help themselves. Throughout the world, impoverished people face barriers brought on by lack of education and lack of employment. Through its vocational training schools, New Horizons offers a dignified answer by providing the training, education and opportunities people need to make positive changes in their lives.
Based on an apprenticeship program curriculum, New Horizons offers participants the opportunity to obtain training in agriculture, architecture, carpentry, construction, electrical, farming, painting or plumbing. Participants receive compensation during the program and a certificate upon completion. Through the construction of homes, orphanages, schools and businesses, participants will learn valuable skills, and help build and enhance their communities. |
